My husband and I went for his birthday, excited to try a new place!. We did not have a reservation (on a Wednesday night). We were seated right away, and Olivia took excellent care of us. The food was SO delicious and exceeded our expectations. Portions are generous, and the atmosphere was very friendly (except for the grandma who kept sending her food back behind us ). We are already looking forward to coming back!

It was my first time visiting and we had reservations for brunch yesterday for Mother’s Day. It was the best and food was delicious and I will definitely be visiting there soon.

We had a birthday celebration here and we were all (30 of us) treated exquisitely! Food was served hot & fresh, water was kept topped off, and drinks were served up quickly! I can’t stress enough how wonderful the atmosphere is in this restaurant. Some of us drove over 50 miles to be there - and it was beyond worth it! From the outside, the restaurant is very unassuming. But once you’re inside, it certainly wraps itself around you and makes you feel like you’re at home. Kudos to the chef, all of the food was excellent but the poutine was out of this world! I have nothing but praise for knife and Stone - and highly recommended it for your next gathering or celebration! You won’t regret it!

2 hour drive for us... and we make the trip every chance we get! Food is SUPERB! My only critique is: they give you too much food and you leave so full you can barely move! My all time favorite restaurant!

Food is great, probably the best filet I’ve ever had. It’s huge.... Definitely the biggest filet I’ve ever had and was cooked perfectly. Not in love with the atmosphere, the food is fine dining but the decor leaves a lot to be desired.

The food was great. The chef really knows what makes each dish taste top notch. We enjoyed the new years eve special selections immensely. The restaurant is small and cozy. The service could be improved a bit as they failed to offer refills of water and the wait between courses was a bit too long. Overall it was still an excellent experience we'll go back especially if they start a Sunday brunch again.

We went here last night for our anniversary. I'd read good things about it and got recommendations for it from a couple friends. Well, we are happy we chose this place. Everything was fantastic, from the service to the food, it was perfect. It's a small place, but we felt like we had plenty of room at our table. But with it being smaller, I'd definitely recommend making reservations. We started with drinks. Both drinks were delicious. We have the blackberry smash and a margarita. My fiance doesn't usually drink except for the occasional margarita. But she actually really enjoyed my cocktail as much as her margarita. Next was our appetizer. We ordered the poutine. The portion size was nice and big. It was loaded with fries, beef, cheese curds, and gravy. Had to force ourselves to stop eating it so we could save room for our entrees, lol. I decided to try the mushroom soup, since I love mushrooms. It was definitely worth it. My fiance isn't a huge mushroom fan, but she enjoyed it as well. Now to the entrees...we had the duck carbonara and the ribeye (w/asparagus and mashed potatoes). Both of these were fantastic. The ribeye was huge. I'd guess it was around 26oz. It was cooked perfectly, flavorful, and tender. The asparagus was thick. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I'm not a huge mashed potatoes guy, but my fiance is and she said the potatoes were really good, "I didn't even need any gravy". My duck carbonara was equally delicious. The raw egg yolk added the perfect amount of creaminess to the pasta. The duck was perfectly cooked. I loved the crispy bits. It contrasted nicely with the creamy pasta. We don't typically order dessert but since it was our anniversary and because everything has been so damn good; oh, and the waitress told us "they say our bread pudding is life-changing". So, I said let's do it! I'm so glad I did. The bread pudding is easily one of the best desserts I've ever eaten. My fiance told the waitress she doesn't really like bread pudding, "it's soggy bread. I'm not really a fan." Well, she loved it as much as I did. We shared one order and devoured it! All in all, this was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. We both love trying new foods/places. I would order every single one of these items again. Everything was perfect!!!
